M12 Y-Code Hybrid: Power and 100 Mbps on One Cable
Use Y-code 1146462 when one cable carries power and 100 Mbps. Use an M-code power cable when the port is power only.
On this page
Use Y-code part 1146462 when one 8-position cable has to carry power and 100 Mbps. As of October 21, 2026, that page lists 6 A on the power conductors and 0.5 A on the data conductors, at 48 V AC and 50 V DC, on a 1 m PUR hybrid. Use M-code part 1414945 when the cable is power only: 8 A at a nominal 690 V AC, 6 x 1.5 mm², with no Ethernet rate on that page. The keys are different. Part 1146462 is marked discontinued, with no stock replenishment after September 30, 2026.

Both weights were on the page on October 21, 2026.
The 1 m part is discontinued
The page says discontinued, no stock replenishment after September 30, 2026. That line was still on the item on October 21, 2026, together with the ratings above. The same page lists similar hybrid cables NBC-M12MRY/3,0-94H, item 1146466, and NBC-M12MRY/5,0-94H, item 1146469, and those cards say available to sell. This note did not open 1146466 or 1146469, so their voltage and current are not copied here. A 3 m or 5 m hybrid request starts by opening those items. A 1 m request has to reckon with the replenishment line on 1146462.
When the port is M-code power instead
Part 1414945, opened the same day, is a 6-position unshielded M-code power cable, 10 m, PUR, nominal 690 V AC and 8 A, 6 x 1.5 mm², 16 AWG. It does not list a transmission speed. Y-code 1146462 is shielded, 8-position, 6 A power and 0.5 A data, 48 V AC and 50 V DC, 100 Mbps. Match the key on the device. The M-code length and jacket choice covers 1414945, the configurable item 1276554, and the retired PVC item 1414947. D-code and X-code Ethernet are data keys to an RJ45, not this hybrid shell. T, L, S, and K power are the other power keys.
| Item | Key and job | Nominal voltage | Nominal current | Data rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1146462 | Y-code, power and Ethernet, 1 m | 48 V AC and 50 V DC | 6 A power, 0.5 A data | 100 Mbps |
| 1414945 | M-code, power only, 10 m PUR | 690 V AC | 8 A | None printed |
Cable temperature, shield, and the approvals rows
Cable fixed installation temperature is -40°C to 80°C. Flexible installation is -30°C to 70°C. Installation and drag-chain use are both -20°C to 60°C. Fixed bend radius is 4 x D. Questions about the hybrid rating
Can the M-code power cable carry the 100 Mbps pair?
Part 1414945 is unshielded power, 6 x 1.5 mm², and that page prints no transmission speed. Part 1146462 is the shielded 8-position hybrid at 100 Mbps. The hybrid port takes 1146462. The power-only M-code port takes 1414945.
Can 1146462 still be named on a new build?
The page still shows the ratings and says there is no stock replenishment after September 30, 2026. A drawing that names 1146462 should also name that status and the date the page was read. The 3 m and 5 m similar items were marked available to sell on the 1146462 page. Open those items before treating them as the replacement.
Which cable voltage is the limit, 50 V DC or 125 V peak?
Connector nominal voltage is 48 V AC and 50 V DC. Cable nominal voltage is at most 125 V peak, and the page says that figure is not for high-power applications. The approvals row of 56.5 V and 0.175 A is a third line. Use the line the equipment requires, and keep the other two on the note.
